Order Now8 Healthy Tips For Wellbeing During Lockdown!
Do you want to know the real answer to wellbeing during lockdown? Assuming the answer is yes, here it is: Sleep well, eat healthy, exercise often, maintain social connections, and go outside. That’s the simple version. The only problem is that most people will just read it and forget it. That’s because there is no profound statement there that will stick in your memory. You probably already forgot what they were. That’s why we must continue.
The list below has 8 Healthy Tips For Wellbeing During Lockdown. Some of them were already mentioned but will have a little detail. Even if you retain three of them it will help you be happier. And there is nothing more important in life than happiness.
1. Maintain Connections
Text, talk on phone, and schedule live gatherings at a safe distance. Human beings need connections to feel happy. If you go with the live option, just be smart.
2. Separate Work/School & Free Time
When you’re working or studying, work or study. Shut down all distractions. When you’re enjoying your free time, shut down all email and other forms of communication related to work or study. Always live in the moment. The harder you work, the more you’re going to enjoy your free time because it’s going to feel like an earned reward.
3. Go Solo For An Hour
If you live at home, go chill in the garage and put on some music while working out, reading, or fixing something. Another great idea is to sit in the garage with no music when it’s raining. Other solo-for-an-hour options include going for a ride in the car, hanging out on a bench or hammock at a park, or taking a bath. The latter shouldn’t be underestimated. It’s one of the most relaxing things you can do for your mind and body.
4. Exercise
Go for a long walk, a 10-mile run, or ride a bicycle. Also consider moderate weightlifting; self-resistance exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, sits-ups, and dips; kayaking; hiking; and the list goes on and on. Exercise has been proven time and time again to improve your mood.
5. Road Trip
The United States is a beautiful country as long as you know where to go. If you live on the East Coast, take a ride through Acadia National Park or on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If it’s the former, you will enjoy a majestic rocky shoreline. If it’s the latter, you will travel from Virginia to the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina. Along the way, you will drive through rolling hills and mountains, stop at observation decks and waterfalls, have the option to kayak on a river or canoe in a crystal-clear lake, and much more.
If you live on the West Coast, take this time to drive to and around the Grand Canyon. If you have already done that or it doesn’t interest you, go see the California Redwoods.
If you live in the middle of the country, you can drive to Chicago and marvel at its beauty while the traffic is at a fraction of its norm.
6. Limit News Intake
If you obsess yourself with negative news, you’re not going to be in a good mood. Some people take this news with them and regurgitate it. Nobody likes a Debbie Downer. All you need to do is scan the headlines to know what’s going on.
7. Teach Yourself To Cook
Pretty self-explanatory on this one. You will likely find it therapeutic, and you might fall in love with it because these are your own creations, especially when you add your own little twist.
8. Take Up Yoga
Yoga will help your body and mind. It burns calories, tones your muscles, and helps increase your strength and flexibility. You will feel relaxed at the end of the session.
